Production of ropes for sailing and sports

Every application requires the right material. That’s why, at Falcord, we carefully select the most suitable fibers depending on their use: from boating to entertainment, from sports to industry. Our Italian ropes are designed to last over time, resist weathering, and ensure consistent performance, even under extreme conditions.

Ours materials

We use a complete range of technical and traditional materials, all processed within our facility to ensure maximum control over quality and performance.

Among the most requested materials:

Dyneema

the strongest synthetic fiber in the world, available in SK78, SK99, and DS90 grades — incredibly light yet extremely robust.

Kevlar

an innovative fiber for high-performance applications involving heat, thanks to its exceptional resistance to high temperatures.

Vectran

a high-tenacity, high-rigidity fiber, unaffected by humidity and offering excellent mechanical properties.

Cordura

known for its long-lasting durability, it provides high resistance to tears, scratches, and abrasions. It also offers an excellent grip.

Technora

highly resistant to tension, friction, and high temperatures. It withstands heat, chemicals, saltwater, and UV rays, also thanks to its distinctive black color.

Twaron

part of the aramid fiber family, it shares similar characteristics with Kevlar and excels in high-temperature resistance.

Polyester

excellent resistance to UV rays, abrasion, and weathering. Perfect for nautical and outdoor applications.

Polypropylene

lightweight and buoyant, ideal for temporary use or aquatic environments.

Prisma

an absolute innovation — a polyurethane-resin-treated fiber impregnated and heat-set together with the color. The result is an ultra-resistant, durable, and stable material.

Italian production of ropes for sailing and sports

There is no single “best” fiber: everything depends on the conditions of use and the final goal. Our ropes adapt to different contexts thanks to careful design and consultation work. We collaborate with technicians, retailers, and hobbyists to suggest the most suitable solution based on environment, frequency of use, and operating conditions.
